I have a message that comes up when I open a PDF file which says
"this action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Chose "switch to" to activate the busy program and corect the problem"
when I do this nothing happens and I have to hit Ctrl, Alt and Delete to unlocK the screen in task manager.
What am I doing wrong?
I'm having the same problem as Garry. I can open the PDF program (6 Pro), but I can't open any PDF files without getting that error. Is there any solution for this?
I am having the same problem on two different computers in my office.
I use this program 4 hours day, I am out of business any help?
I've found a workaround.
Open the Nuance PDF program (rather than opening a file).
Go to Help > Nuance on the Web > UNCHECK "Automatic Web Updates"
With Automatic Web Updates unchecked, I'm able to open PDFs. With it checked back on, I'm unable to open anything. I uncheck it again, and I'm able to use the program.

Was on the phone when I did a refresh and saw your work-around.
I was findind this problem strange, because if you opened another PDF
while stuck on the error, another windows opened and you could use it.
