Display Pages in the 
Navigation panel, right-click a page and choose the Number Pages command.
Use this dialog box to define custom page numbering for selected pages.
Choose to re-number all pages, selected pages only or a document section.
If you start a new section, you can

set a different numbering style, specify a prefix for the new page numbers and set the starting page number for the selection. The sample at the bottom shows a dynamic preview.

continue numbering from the previous section with inherited styling.
Note
These page numbers serve for displaying page numbers in the Pages panel or in Document Assembly view only, they are not assigned to the real PDF pages, as in a header or footer.
