Nuance PDF Settings for PowerPoint

Nuance PDF Settings for PowerPoint

This dialog box appears when the  Settings button is clicked in Microsoft PowerPoint on the Nuance toolbar or tab, or when the corresponding menu item is chosen. It lets you specify settings for all PDF files you create from PowerPoint until you change them again.

Settings tab

Select or de-select the appropriate checkboxes to have bookmarks created from slide titles, and to transfer or ignore comments and hyperlinks into resulting PDF. If a slide does not have a title, the bookmark displays the slide number. When a link targets a different document, choose the addressing method – via the full or relative path name. A full path is suitable when both files reside on your local computer or within its reach. A relative path is better if the files are to be transferred to a different computer. Select the lower checkbox if you always want to change the target document extension to .pdf in the link. Then, if the targeted file is not a PDF, you must create a PDF from it, with the same name and location.

Advanced Settings tab

Click Advanced Settings to display the ScanSoft PDF Create! Properties panel for further settings. This includes the instructions for naming the PDF files and their target locations.
