Custom Setup

With Custom Setup you can:                      

• change the installation folder. The default installation folder is C:\Program Files \ Nuance \ PDF Professional 6 \

• decide to install or not the PDF Converter component

• enable or disable

  • the integration of Nuance PDF Professional in other programs. By default, all the programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, Lotus Notes, Mozilla Firefox and WordPerfect Office)  offered by the InstallShield Wizard will be enabled, provided they are installed on your computer.
  • PDF Professional 6 features such as indexing, splitting document, document comparison, security and digital signature, creating dynamic PDF forms, optimizing PDF documents, tagging PDF documents, reading out PDF documents and using Clip Art.
  • Enterprise features: CaseMap support and Document Management Systems support

• set PDF Converter Professional as your default PDF viewer.

Start the installer.

1. On the Setup Type panel of the Install Shield Wizard, select Custom.

2. On the Custom Setup panel you have the following choices: 

• enable or disable

• the component to unlock PDF files

• the integration of Nuance PDF Professional 6 in other programs

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Lotus Notes
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Windows Explorer
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Mozilla Firefox

  • WordPerfect Office support

• Signing PDF files digitally
