Use the Workflows dialog box to set a workflow
as current, to modify, rename, create, remove, export or import a workflow.
You can open the Workflows dialog box from the Tools menu. For creating
or modifying a workflow, the Workflow Assistant
will be opened.
Workflow name: Lists
all workflow files located in the program's
default Workflow folder
under Vista
Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Nuance\OmniPage17\WorkFlow
under
Windows XP:
Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Nuance\OmniPage17\Workflow
Click Set As Current
to display the selected workflow in the Workflow drop-down list. To run
the workflow, click the Start button.
Click Modify... to
modify the selected workflow. The Workflow Assistant will appear with
the workflow steps on the left.
Click Rename... to
rename your selected workflow. Type in the new name in the Rename Workflow
dialog box. You cannot rename a workflow when it is selected in the Workflow
drop-down list.
Click New... to create
a new workflow. The Workflow Assistant will appear letting you create
a new workflow from scratch or from already existing workflows.
Click Remove to remove
the selected workflow file from the list. You cannot remove a workflow
when it is selected in the Workflow drop-down list. To delete a workflow
physically, see Deleting workflows.

Export and Import of workflows, Print and Save Barcode Cover

Click Export... to
export the selected workflow file to a network location for sharing with
other users.
Click Import... to
browse for OmniPage Workflow Files (*.xwf) and import a workflow file
from a network location.
Click Print Barcode Cover
Page to print the cover page of a workflow to be used in a barcode
cover page job.
Click Save Barcode Cover
Page to save the cover page of a workflow to be used in a barcode
cover page job.
A barcode cover page can be printed or saved for any workflow
without pre-defined file or folder input. These workflows can be started
automatically by placing the cover page on top of a document to be scanned,
or placing the cover page image with document images into a barcode folder.
