This topic applies to the following dialog boxes: Workflow
Assistant - Save, Workflow
Assistant - Save to FTP and Workflow Assistant - Save to SharePoint (and
possibly to other ECMs). The latter two or more dialog boxes do not contain
the View Result and the Create files in a timestamp subfolder options.
Save As: Select Text to save the recognition results
in one of the offered file types (e.g. Microsoft Word). Select Image
to save the page images to an image file type (e.g. TIFF). Select Multiple to save to more than one file
type at the same time: e.g. Word and TIFF. There are four pre-defined
multiple converters to choose from or you can create your own. Select
Form data to save data extracted
from filled forms.
Output file options
File options: Specify
whether recognition results should be stored in one file or in a set of
files. In the latter cases, numerical suffixes are added to the file name
to generate unique files.
Naming options: Choose
Use input file names or Use input names with subfolders when
Create a new file for each image file
is selected. In all other cases, you must specify a file name. If multiple
files are generated, they are distinguished by numerical suffixes.
File type: Select
the file type to be displayed in the file list.
Formatting level:
This displays the formatting levels currently on offer, depending on the
file type you have chosen.
Prompting
Prompt for file saving name
and location: Select this to be prompted for a file name and path
each time this workflow finishes. Click Browse
to select a default folder for the prompting. Deselect this if you want
to specify the name and path now.
Browse: Click this
to browse for the folder that should appear when you are prompted for
a file name and path at saving time.
Start here: This
displays the path selected for the default folder when prompting for output
file names.
Save automatically with
a specific name and location
Specify Name and Location...:
Click this to specify output file location, name and type.
Input - Output: The
Input field shows where the images
will come from. The Output field
shows where your file(s) will be stored. You may ask for the file names
to be prompted both for input and output.
View Result: Select
this to have the target application activated with the saved file opened.
The target application is by default the one associated with your saving
format in your Windows system, but you can specify a different application
as a converter option for this file type.
Create files in a timestamp
subfolder: To save files to automatically created folders, named
by the date and time of creation.
