Saving to SharePoint

This topic relates only to OmniPage Professional.

OmniPage supports Microsoft SharePoint 2003 and 2007.

To save documents to SharePoint:

  1. Click the Export Results button with Save to SharePoint selected in the Export Results drop-down list.

  2. Select the appropriate options in the Export Options dialog box, then click OK.

The SharePoint Log-in dialog box will appear.

  1. Enter a SharePoint Server name, a repository name, a user name and a password, then click OK.

The Save to SharePoint dialog box will appear.

  1. Select a folder location and a file type for your document.

  2. Type in a file name, then click OK.

 

SharePoint access

The server, login and password information must be provided only once at the start of each session, and it is offered at the start of each subsequent session.

1. Go to www.nuance.com and choose Support from the top menu.

2. Select Knowledge Base under Free Online Support on the left.

3. Choose OmniPage and click Continue.

4. Type ’SharePoint’ into the Search Criteria field and click Search to display found topics.

Could you please provide more information on mapping the network connections for SharePoint Server name and repository name?

I'm trying to do the same thing...no luck. I've search the internet for answers for hours but nothing. Documentation REALLY needs some examples. The error I get is Network Error, which means nothing to me.
