To display this dialog box for PaperPort

  1. Right-click the Microsoft Word icon in the PaperPort Send To bar and select Send To Options.... The Send To Options dialog box appears.

  2. Choose OmniPage 17 in the Convert image to text (OCR) with selection box, then click the Settings... button. The Options dialog appears.

  3. Click the Output Format tab.

Output formatting level

Plain Text: Choose this to have plain decolumnized text with the line breaks as in the original document in one font and font size. It can contain tables and graphics.

Formatted Text: Choose this to have decolumnized text with font and paragraph formatting detected and retained.

Flowing Page: Choose this to have text with font and paragraph formatting retained, and to retain the columns from the original document. This is done by column settings, not by text boxes and frames. That means text will flow between the columns.

True Page: Choose this to have the formatting from the original document retained as closely as possible. Headings, columns, graphics and other items are placed in frames. Font and paragraph styling is retained.
