This dialog box appears in PaperPort and serves for selecting
OmniPage Options.
To display this dialog box
Right-click any text based application
(e.g. Microsoft Word, Notepad, Wordpad) icon in the PaperPort Send To
bar and select Send To Options.... The
Send To Options dialog box appears.
Choose OmniPage 17 in the Convert image to text (OCR) with selection
box, then click the Settings...
button. The Options dialog appears.
Click the Other
Options tab.
Options
Draw zones automatically:
Select this to have OmniPage automatically draw zones on pages it recognizes
and assign zone properties to them. If this is deselected, a window appears
during processing so you can draw zones before recognition is run. See
Direct OCR zoning window.
Proofread OCR: Select
this to see the OCR Proofreader
dialog box after recognition. It presents non-dictionary words or
words containing suspect or reject characters, allowing you to correct
them, helped by a display of the relevant part of the original image.
Dictionary suggestions may also be available.
Load as digital camera image:
Select this for processing images containing text taken by a digital camera.
If selected, 3D Deskew, resolution enhancement and straightening text
lines are performed automatically on images.
