The dialog box is called from the Standard toolbar; it appears
automatically during proofing if this was set under Options/Proofing or
in a workflow containing a proofing step.
At the top it displays the image of marked words and their
context, one after the other.
Edit panel: This
displays a colored suspect or non-dictionary word in its context. You
can change the word.
Suggestions: This
lists suggested replacement words for the marked word. Select a word in
this list to place it in the Edit panel.
User dictionary:
Displays the name of a loaded user dictionary or [none].
Click Ignore to move
to the next marked word if the recognized word is correct.
Click Ignore All
to leave the marked word and all its instances unchanged and to move to
the next suspect word.
Click Add to add
a correct or changed word to the current user dictionary and move to the
next marked word.
Click Change to implement
a change and move to the next marked word.
Click Change All
to replace every instance of the marked word in the document with the
changed word in the Edit panel and move to the next marked word.
Click Page Ready
when proofing and editing on the current page is finished. You will receive
the next page.
Click Document Ready
when you have finished all the proofing and editing you want to do in
the document.
Click Close to stop
proofreading.
Click Resume to restart
proofreading.
Click More >>
to display a page thumbnail with a highlight indicating the location of
the problem word. The first number below the thumbnail shows how many
suspects were already handled by the Proofreader on the page. The second
number shows the total number of suspect characters on the page.
Click << Less
to close the extended part of the dialog box.
The Character Map is displayed at the bottom of the dialog
box. Click the arrows to display invisible parts of the character map.
