I know I'm going to love this Wiki! What I've been looking for however is a newbie detailed instruction sheet on how to scan an image (what type of PDF (what is an active image?, etc...), mark fields to capture, save what where and how to then use the template. I'm still confused with all the choices and the similar items called by different names. I have never used OmniPage before at all. But I am encouraged to see that there is finally hope of real help coming my way.
This is the first time I've used OmniPro for extracting data from images of forms and it worked exactly the way it is supposed to as described in the help screens. This is great because it adds another dimension to what we offer our clients - and it will save our clients time and money when they have to do analysis surveys and evaluations.
