need help with Omnipage

Jeff:

I am working with Omnipage 17 Professional. I have used Omnipage before but not alot. I recently scanned a textbook and (hit and miss) some of the pages are coming out with a black background and white text. Can you help? I'm trying to get this textbook to a student so any help would be appreciated.
