In 2003, during my third year of medical school, I fell 3 stories while trying to help a neighbor. I suffered a cervical spinal cord injury making me a quadriplegic. When I was in rehab, one of the doctors I worked with in medical school bought me Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I began to use it during rehabilitation, but I realized its full potential when I went back to school.
