Dragon Naturally Speaking software works real great, Mate!

At first, I was worried about finding a speech recognition program that would work accurately with my Australian accent which is still hanging in there even though I've been in the US for many years. In my business I can't afford to make mistakes.  Then I heard that Nuance had versions of Dragon that work perfectly with English and Australian accents. I decided to give it a go.

Before I started using Dragon, my heart would sink each time I looked at the massive piles of neatly stacked client files in my office. I was pushing hard to finish client work, but data entry was lagging behind. I was working long hours but the piles just didn’t get any smaller. It was a nightmare. I knew I had to find a solution.  So I took a look at speech-recognition software.

I used the training program included in Dragon to teach me software to recognize my individual pronunciation and now when I dictate, even with my Aussie accent, Dragon rarely makes a mistake. Dragon saves me hours of time every day. I find it more reliable and accurate than scanning and uploading documents directly and it works accurately with all my tax and accounting software - including Quickbooks, ProSeries, Lacerte, Excel, Microsoft Word.

I love using Dragon with my corporate clients.  Its great to impress corporate clients sitting with them and writing up the minutes of their meeting on the spot!  And when I am away from my desk I can record what I say and Dragon captures a transcript beautifully.

As soon as I started using Dragon speech-recognition software, it changed my life and my business. Dragon revolutionized the way I interact with clients.  It's real great, mate! As client data comes into my office, I can appropriately respond to the clients and send out timely invoices. There are no more incomplete stacks. Everything is current. When I get a request from a client I can give immediate in-depth detailed responses without billing for so much time.  Clients are appreciative of my prompt customer service and clear responses.

Dragon is easy to use but it did take a bit of time to customize Dragon. For me, it was well worth the effort. 

Once I had the software setup, I saw the benefits quickly because it created less workload with better client service and better performance on my part. It just made life easier.

The best thing is no more late nights. Now I finish my work during regular office hours and my bottom line for profits has still increased.
