this is all dishonest..

we want to know if this

program is 64 bit or 32 bit..

we know vista will run legacy

32 bit programs in "WOW" mode..

THAT IS NOT WHAT WE WANT TO KNOW..

how about this- i run vista 64

on the Itanium 64 bit processor..

will it use my 8 gig of memory?

will someone step forward and

be honest and tell me if this

10.1 is a 64 bit program or not?

FROM PUERTO RICO: I just received 10 version of the program. Is the first time for me that support the company. But i have just discovered (like many others) that the program does not work for VISTA 64-bit. When comes the SPANISH VERSION 10.1? I Needs to know this soon as possible, to know if return the program before wasting time for repayment. Thanks, I hope no had any disappointment.

Nuance is now looking at another problem square down the double barrel of Microsoft compliance process.

According to Microsoft documentation, in order for a software vendor to use the phrase ‘Works with Vista’ – “Applications must be tested on Windows Vista Release Candidate software or later. *The application must be tested on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista.*”

– Nuance has NOT done this.

I just called the number, and after 45 minutes on the phone, all I get was another number, and a guy calling me a woman and telling me I'm not important to Nuance unless I pay extra above my original 50$ payment.

I am very disappointed with Nuance, and will continue to spread bad words about them until these problems with their systems are fixed.

I agree with everything that Larry said, and a useless 50$ program that I can't use due to a lack of support for actual paying customers.

I hope that Nuance is happy after cheating hundreds of people out of fifty bucks, and not even giving a visible warning that the program was not compatible with 64 bit OSs.

I had previously heard that Nuance was a good company, and that Dragon was the best Speech-to-Text program available. Now I realize differently that they are a corrupt, cheap, organization that only cares about money without giving a thought to their customers.

I will continue to spread this bad word about Nuance until a Essentials update is available.

I just called and ordered a DVD, and the representative told me I should look for the DVD in about a week. I related to her that I spoke with customer service on Wednesday and was told that even the DVD would be the end of May for release. She said it has been available since last week, and she apologized.

I watched a webinar about Dragon Legal recently, but could not pin anyone down with a timeline for the release of Legal 64-bit.

I guess I will go with Vista's SRT.

Well, that's weird. Mr. Mahoney posted that Legal 10.1 would be available for download next week; now his post is gone. Does that mean it will no longer be available for download next week? I have tried every available mechanism for finding out; I have had Legal 10 for 8 months and have been unable to use it.

As with Johnny, who posted on 4/28/2009, I would like to know the status of the Legal 64-bit version. I have been looking almost every day to see if the Legal version is yet downloadable. Today, the update went from "end of April" to "Not available as a download."

So I called the toll free number and was told to look for it at the end of May, or possibly mid-May.

Is there a more reliable estimate as to the release date of Legal 10.1? Will it be downloadable, or will we have to order the DVD?

I have waited several months for this and may just start using Vista's speech recognition and forego any further speech recognition purchases from Nuance. Typing is too painful and I have put off authoring some briefs until now with the hope that the Legal version would be out as of today.

Any update would be much appreciated.
