Dragon as a "must-have" app

Check out Alex Wolfe's post about Dragon 10 over at Wolfe's Den on InformationWeek.com.  Alex even included a cool video interview with Peter as well as some footage showing Dragon in action.

I have always been very satisfied with naturally speaking. And, I have been using the program since version one and before that, DragonDictate. However, since my job entails video production, I've been hindered to  moving over to a Macintosh because of speech recognition. In the past, I've run both operating systems on separate computers. Now, I can at least run a Windows . However, I would love if I could consolidate everything into one operating system. I know that there is ViaVoice (I owned a copy and hated it.) And also Macspeech dictate (I have version 1.3. The recognition is wonderful, but correction capabilities as well as other software NaturallySpeaking comes with is nonexistent). Since then, I've gone to using a copy of Windows XP under parallels to dictate. Then I just copy and paste what I write back into my Mac programs. It's very clunky to do it this way and you don't have the. And much faster than restarting the computer into Windows. Please! For years I have wanted NaturallySpeaking on the Macintosh. Macspeech is a structure and benefits of NaturallySpeaking. Please make a NaturallySpeaking version for the Macintosh. I've grown to love all the wonderful traits that NaturallySpeaking has. Unfortunately, there's not been a Macintosh version, so my work is hindered.
